Recommended for students in all Milestones
Many students struggle to make sense of the academic
literature. We are expected to analyze difficult texts, even
though we can’t recall ever being given the tools to do so.
Moreover, our own voice is squashed by the weighty
examples of what we read. In this session, we will
exchange strategies for note taking, annotating, organizing,
outlining, overcoming writer’s block, and finding a
comfortable scholarly voice.
